Richard John Hounslow〔GRO reference: March 1982, Vol. 11, Page 1264〕 (born 19 December 1981 in Harrow, London) is a British slalom canoeist who has competed in the K-1 category since the late 1990s. Since 2009 he has also been competing in C-2 alongside David Florence. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he competed in the K-1 event (finishing 12th in the semifinals) as well as the C-2 event where he won the silver medal. Hounslow won nine medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (C-2: 2013), a silver (K-1 team: 2009) and seven bronzes (C-2: 2010; C-2 team: 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015; K-1 team: 2014, 2015). He also won 9 medals at the European Championships (2 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes).
